I mean really, raise your hand if you don't want to to be moving your hand while playing a shooter even if it is just a little bit. Don't you just want to play a Nintendo console without having to move your hand or plugging in a sub-controller into your Wii-mote??
Wii U needs a controller where you can just relax and pick it up like the Gamecube. They should have the Classic Controller Pro completely wireless for those who just come home from a long day at work and just hold a control in their hand without moving their arms anymore.
Take the wire out and add the L3 R3 buttons from the PS3/360. That's all Nintendo really needs to do in order for it to be a great controller. I have played many games on the Wii with this controller and it is better and more relaxing than a Wii-mote and Nun-chuck. Maybe add a touch panel on the back of the controller but with a switch to turn it off also.
